Matilda the Muscial

We have a “Mission Statement” that encompasses everything we believe at Larchwood

Larchwood Primary SchoolAchievement and Enjoyment
All children achieve their potential, enjoy their primary years and are given opportunities and experiences they will remember for life.  Our children learn within a safe, secure and caring environment where their education, inclusion, well-being and social skills are promoted daily.

I will be updating our blog with examples of the opportunities and experiences we offer at Larchwood starting with the one Year 6 have been told about today.

The Larchwood Primary Parent’s Association (LPPA) have kindly offered to pay for each and every Year 6 child to go and see Matilda the Musical at the Cambridge Theatre. It is something they can look forward to and I believe will remember for a lifetime.

I also agreed with the LPPA that watching a West End show will become an annual event for Year 6, so all children will get this opportunity and experience.

To say the children were pleased and excited when I told them is an understatement!

Thank you to the LPPA, your continued support is very much appreciated.

Please feel free to comment on this article (below) and share on Twitter, Facebook or any other mediums. The more people that read about the things that are going on at Larchwood the better!

The PA Ladies are really excited that the money we raise can go towards making the experiences at school a really fun time for the children. Remember the more we raise the more memories we can make for the children at Larchwood Primary.

Anyone can get involved, Mums, Dads, Grandparents are all welcome to help raise funds.

The LPPA are currently in the process of organising the Summer Fete, so if you can give any time, help on the day or just ideas of what you would like to see then please contact us on pa@larchwoodprimary.co.uk
